Learning By Doing
School of Business

Entrepreneurship is the cornerstone of any modern economy. Everyday, entrepreneurs around the world are starting new and innovative businesses to enhance our lives and impact the world. Thrive Academy School of Business is a program designed to produce young entrepreneurs by teaching students the characteristics of entrepreneurs and imparting knowledge and that will help them develop competencies and skills required for success in the 21st century. Skills learned through fun and deeply interactive curriculum benefit students throughout their school careers and beyond.
Our unique curriculum introduces kids and teens to the world of entrepreneurship in a fun and engaging way – by starting their own business!
Our 12-week program guides students through the steps of building their own business---learning all the business basics, along with valuable soft skills, as they prepare to sell their products.

YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
Students will learn the essentials of starting a business: from how to spot an opportunity and decide on a product or service, to prototyping, marketing, setting goals, customer service and the art of selling (a product, but also an idea.). This program covers all the basics at a level that kids and teens can understand and relate to. Soft skills focus on leadership, communication, perseverance and time management.

In our entrepreneurship program, students start a new business or continue working on an existing business or idea, with the potential to keep running the business throughout high school and beyond. All the fundamentals of starting and running a business are covered at a level appropriate (and fun!) for students ages 8-17---whether they are newbies or veterans of our earlier programs.
