Laundry Basics

In this 4-week course, students will complete fun and engaging activities as they learn to:

Prepare Clothes for washing (sorting, pre-treating, checking tags, emptying pockets, etc)

Washing Clothes (temperature, cycle type, identifying special fabrics needing dry cleaning or gentle cycle,etc)
-
Drying Clothes
-
Hanging Clothes
-
Folding Clothes
-
Ironing Clothes
Students will gain an understanding of different types of laundry product including detergents, stain removers, fabric softeners, dryer sheets. PLEASE NOTE: Only NON-TOXIC cleaners are used in this course. The goal is for students to be able to independently wash, dry, fold, hang, and iron all different types of clothes without the aid of the instructor. The course concludes with students being broken into teams, and each team will create a video as they detail a vehicle from start to finish. Upon successful completion of the video, each student will receive a certificate of completion.

Course Price: $160

A Non-Refundable Deposit will be due at sign-up.
The deposit is $50 for each course that you reserve. All deposits are applied to the course balance for the session days reserved. Your deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable---UNLESS the program is cancelled due to lack of sufficient registrants.
The balance for each week is due on prior to the start of the course.
